Beginning to look like Christmas!

I'm ready for Christmas! I must say this is the earliest I've ever decorated, but I just couldn't wait any longer and since we will be at my parents house for Thanksgiving...I thought...why not?

White's Baby Shower

We had Alan and Cathy's baby shower at the house on Sunday. It was fun times and too much good food...Can't wait to meet Aidan...let's hope he comes before christmas day!

Get- Away

They were showing our house so much lately, we could hardly live there!!! So...Madison and I packed up and went to Fort Smith for a break a few days this week. We had lots of much needed time with my Maw Maw and Papa. Also, we went to church with the family and ate out after. I don't think Madison and Riley could get enough hugs! We played games, had a picnic, and I took Madison to one of my favorite parks ever! We're back to reality now...

Our life...

We have been living in a whirlwind lately with trying to finish building and sell our house! WOW...showing a house is NOT fun! I feel like we haven't even been able to live there. Madison is doing pretty well with the unsettled schedule , but you can see she's acting a little different too! I don't blame her...

Storytime at the Library

This morning we went to the library for rhyme time-story time! Madison was not so big on doing the songs and motions at first, but at the end she actually went down front and put humpty-dumpty back on his felt wall! Then when she turned around and everyone was staring at her and clapping it totally scared her and she started crying not knowing what to do...she's just so funny about things that are new to her. Maybe if we go again she will get more comfortable with it! She did like getting to check out some books to bring home.

Work Weekend

Daniel and I began painting the house this weekend...I think we were both wondering why we decided on 12 ft. ceilings in the office! Even though it was a lot of work, we still had some much needed time together and did have some laughs. It seems to be moving very slow right now. Probably because Daniel is doing everything!!!!! Except.. The carpet and tile are being layed tomorrow by someone else! Yea!

School Days...

It feels so strange not having to be back getting ready for the school year !! Usually my life right now would be complete chaos with driving back and forth to school trying to get my classroom decorated and plans ready for the kids to come back. I would also probably not be cooking dinner this week and the house would be a mess.... but NOT ME! I will be so blessed to be home with Madison this year...it has truly been a desire of my heart. I KNOW God will provide for all of our needs. We praise Him for His faithfulness! I've really been enjoying taking pictures this summer. Don't think they would let her come back to school anyway with that pacifier in her mouth...But she does have her backpack, can hold her pencil the right way, and just recently began counting to 10! (so cute) We're off to a good start anyway.

"It's COLD!"

Almost 2 years old...

It's been so HOT lately, we haven't been spending as much time outside. We even brought her bike inside to ride. I think the high yesterday was 104...but these are the newest pictures I've taken of her.
