Our Anniversary

Daniel and I celebrated our 4th anniversary last night. It seemed like the first time we'd been out alone for a long time. Uncle Andy came over to take care of madison while we went to eat at Michaelangelo's and then to see how far the house had come along in a day. Madison had a great time playing with Andy. We had a great time too! I shouldn't have posted this picture...I hate pics taken from below you looking up! (it was the only one we got):) not my best pose!!! This was after we got home~~ madison was tired and I was forcing her to pose in a picture!

Memorial Weekend

Madison got a "boo-boo" on her nose from daycare this week!

What's Important?...

The past few weekends Madison has been spoiled by her great grandma and her meme! Thanks for everything you do for her and teach her when we're together. I love it that Madison LOVES you so much too. Just wish we lived closer!

Our Day OFF!

Maddie and I stayed home today and had a fun day together. ( I had plenty of days left to take at school this year) So, of course I took one!! :) Thankfully I have them to get me through to the end...We stayed in our pj's and did laundry this morning, then went to the park and played outside at our church's new playground. My camera is always in hand!

Being a Mommy

Before I became a mommy, I never really understood how much it would truly change my life. I remember how everyone would always say "things will never be the same when you have children!" It is so true. My life will never be the same and for that I am so glad.

Toad Suck Daze 2008~ Live and Learn...

This was the first and last time for the Derden's at Toad Suck Daze! (unless Maddie is ever performing in the activities) It was SO crowded...it was ridiculous! All we did was walk and fight through the crowd and spend A LOT of $ on lunch! Just to think that could have been spent on Olive Garden...

The Bathtub is no longer Madison's friend!

After slipping in my parents bathtub a few weeks ago, Maddie has decided she doesn't like the bath anymore....at ALL. She didn't even hurt herself~ it just scared her. So, for over a week now it has been an absolute struggle to get her in the tub. She used to love to get in every night, but not anymore! I went to Walmart and bought out the bath toy section, but she still screams and loses it every time. As you can see, Daniel tried to coax her in the other night because we hated to hear her cry again. After 30 minutes of throwing her new toys in, she decided daddy had to get in too! :) Yes, it was spaghetti night. Any suggestions??

Acting just like Mommy...

Madison has been so busy! She loves wearing my shoes around, getting into my make-up, and talking on the cell phone. I appologize to everyone she's called lately!
