We hadn't seen uncle stephen (buddy) since last summer. So, it was a good time when he came to stay with us for a week from Austin, TX. Madison and I did take him to Jonesboro to visit family since it had been a LONG time since he'd seen any of them. We had a lot of memorable times...most of them were great! :) Remember the HORSE, my speeding ticket, getting lost in Memphis, and sleeping arrangements...and not to forget my new favorite t.v. show, Antique Roadshow! We already miss you boy!
daniel looks so thrilled to be waiting....i think it's really that fact that i was taking yet another picture.

Happy "late" Valentines DAY!
I guess I should say better late than never! Here is a pic of madison getting her make-up on. We picked my little bro up from the airport on V-day this year....we didn't hit the crowded restaurants, just had a nice dinner at home!

Daddy & Me
Madison had been really sick last week. When she got better we made a trip to L.R. to pick up a suit and slacks for daddy....and of course had to make a trip to the Children's Place for a new hat! It makes her little ears stick out. She wore it all day, as you can see even with her pajamas on! These pics are after daddy got home from work...one of the best parts of the day!

Painting Projects
There are just some days when I feel like I've accomplished a lot! The day started with Madison wanting her toenails and fingernails painted....then that led to her wanting to paint mine...(i chose clear as my color :) Then she water colored before her nap and I decided out of no where to paint my kitchen backsplash! Since it has been so long and I still don't have my backsplash up I just grabbed some left over paint from the garage and started in. It's definitely not the best, but it will do for now or until we can get it finished! I was pretty excited about it anyway...daniel will be surprised when he gets home tonight. Hope he likes it!
Before my "wild" mood...

60's in January!
We have had two of the nicest days I've ever seen in January. But now as I look out the window only 2 days later....there is sleet falling from the sky and it's below freezing. Just don't know what to think about this weather....I think I'm ready for spring! SOON!
Madison LOVEs POCKETS.... This was one of my sweaters back when I was two.. you can tell it's way out of style...the back of it has a long yellow braid sewn on it. We don't leave the yard in this one!

Never too cold for ice cream!
It doesn't really matter if it's below freezing outside....madison asks for a frozen fruit bar or ice cream. She's been on this "kick" lately.

Cousins are the Best of Friends
Here are some funny pictures I got of the girls over the holidays. They loved singing with their new pink microphones. (we wish there was a volume on them). Since what one of them wants the other does...they got a lot of the same gifts this year. Also, thanks to mawmaw and papa for the wonderful goodie purses! :) We love them!

Christmas 2008
It's true...this was the only one I made everyone take~ not the best, but it was worth it to not hear too much complaining over it!

Potty Pro
YAY! The potty training days have ended for Madi. It really only took us about 2 solid weeks of constant reminding, the potty chair all over the house, and many books along with countless minutes on that chair. She hasn't even had an accident for about 2 wks. now. I was starting to wonder if she would ever actually tell me when she had to go. But it happened. I'm so surprised that she even wakes up dry every morning....It's so nice to not have to change diapers anymore. Now if we can just get through this naptime rebellion we'll be fine. :)
