Happy 2nd Birthday!

SOLD!

Our house is officially sold now! Yeah..it only took a little over a week. I was thinking today, it's like an old principal I worked for used to always say...things are "bitter-sweet". Even though we've had so many exciting things that have happened in our first home...I know there will be more to come in our new home too! I can honestly say I think it is much more SWEET for me...just a little on the bitter side. I could name the reasons, but I won't. ;)

Get- Away

They were showing our house so much lately, we could hardly live there!!! So...Madison and I packed up and went to Fort Smith for a break a few days this week. We had lots of much needed time with my Maw Maw and Papa. Also, we went to church with the family and ate out after. I don't think Madison and Riley could get enough hugs! We played games, had a picnic, and I took Madison to one of my favorite parks ever! We're back to reality now...

Our life...

We have been living in a whirlwind lately with trying to finish building and sell our house! WOW...showing a house is NOT fun! I feel like we haven't even been able to live there. Madison is doing pretty well with the unsettled schedule , but you can see she's acting a little different too! I don't blame her...

Mommy's Night Off...

Last weekend Madison stayed Saturday night with daddy while I went to a Ronnie Milsap concert with my mom. It was the first time she's stayed with just dad over night! They had a lot of fun together and I had lots of fun too! Even though it was only a short time...they went to UCA to see the fountain, went to McDonald's to eat breakfast Sunday morning, and PLAYED with dolls!!

While folding clothes last night, Madison snatched a pair of daddy's socks. Before I knew it she was wearing his shoes too! She thought it was soooo funny!

Day at Laurel Park

On tuesday I kept Caroline while Tiff went back to work. So, that morning we went to play. Caleb and Elijah joined us. It was a beautiful day to be outside. As usual Madison wanted to swing the whole time!

Storytime at the Library

This morning we went to the library for rhyme time-story time! Madison was not so big on doing the songs and motions at first, but at the end she actually went down front and put humpty-dumpty back on his felt wall! Then when she turned around and everyone was staring at her and clapping it totally scared her and she started crying not knowing what to do...she's just so funny about things that are new to her. Maybe if we go again she will get more comfortable with it! She did like getting to check out some books to bring home.

Work Weekend

Daniel and I began painting the house this weekend...I think we were both wondering why we decided on 12 ft. ceilings in the office! Even though it was a lot of work, we still had some much needed time together and did have some laughs. It seems to be moving very slow right now. Probably because Daniel is doing everything!!!!! Except.. The carpet and tile are being layed tomorrow by someone else! Yea!
